The journey begins

The aim of this blog is to record our journey into the world of reef keeping.

After a lot of research and head scratching at all the various bits of kit and lots of money needed to have a successful marine aquarium we came across the Red Sea Max. It is advertised as a plug-and-play aquarium designed to make reefkeeping easier and more successful. Basically you get everything you need to get started in one box, idiot proof assembly instructions and the option of a starter kit which includes reef base, salt, test kit, various chemicals and hydrometer.
