Today we think we took delivery of our new tank. The next step is to get the RO unit plumbed in then we can think about filling it!What is an RO unit? It is a device that plums into your mains tapwater supply using reverse osmosis to produce a small quantity of pure water and a larger amount of discarded 'polluted' water. The RO water is very low in pollutants therefore ideal for use in marine aquariums where trace levels of some chemicals can cause algae to bloom.
